Did about 6 miles on the Tunxis Trail in Southington, CT. Starting at Whitman Rd. The trail is pretty flat for the first 100 yards or so then a rolling climb for about 2 miles at an average grade of 7% mostly along a washed out abandoned woods road. Lots of bare rock on the steeper sections, huge puddles thanks to ATVers on the more level parts (wuss-bunnies can't ride their ATVs on the steep trails). Very humid, about 75-80 degrees. Saw one male ring necked pheasant and about 2000 squirrels, no people.
