fast and ugly Rating: 3  Posted: Tue Jan 25, 2005 9:57 pm

I ran this race in 2003 when it was the Motorola Marathon, and set a big PR. The first half of the course is a gentle downhill the whole way, then the second half is fairly flat, making it a fast course overall. The route was pretty ugly, though, especially in the first half where donut shops and muffler repair centers were all that passed for scenery. The crowd support was pretty good, even on a cold and blustery day.
