Is there a temp that is not good to run in?

As long as you're dressed appropriately, I think it doesn't matter how cold it is. Another one of the posters here mentioned enjoying runs at -36 below zero in Winnipeg. I don't think it's possible to freeze your lungs or anything like that. But what do I know, a "cold" day for me is 40F!

If I were on Titan, I don't think I'd run (-300F) :)

My coldest run with a measured temperature was -18F with no wind. I've run in sub zero temperatures and 30-40 mph winds, giving a chill factor of around -63F. I would come back after an hours run with sweatcicles hangdown the back of my neck.

I've never had a problem running in sub freezing weather. I just put on sufficient layers to keep me warm. The most # layers I've had to wear is 5. I did find that after an hour of subzero temperatures I started to get cold, so I planned my runs to be an hour or less.

When running in cold temperatures, I don't worry about my pace. I run at a slow but comfortable pace and just get in some miles. My main object is to survive :)
