Boston has 61-time finisher (and 2-time winner) Johnny Kelley. But what about New York? Metro Sport takes a look at the most memorable runners in the history of the New York Marathon. I think she should be considered. Anyone remember her name? As I recall she's an elite runner in shorter distances but this was her first marathon. She's a pretty big name in distance running, and is probably well known in many places outside of New York. I think she may have been in the Olympics this year too, I can't remember.
