Olympics Attacker Banned From London Marathon

The defrocked Catholic priest who assaulted the race leader during last summer's Olympic Men's Marathon has been banned from April's London Marathon. British officials have ordered Cornelius Horan to stay out of the London districts that the course passes through on race day, citing the potential for him to disrupt the race as he did before. Horan attempted to tackle race leader Vanderlei de Lima during the Athens Olympic marathon last August. He also disrupted an earlier Grand Prix auto race by running out on the track during the event.
